Scope: CLAC members modernized Highland Valley Copper’s operations by upgrading existing facilities and building new ones to extend the mine’s life to 2027. Local 68 pipefitters, carpenters, electricians, scaffolders, equipment operators, welders, millwrights, concrete finishers, sheet metal workers, skilled labourers, warehouse personnel worked on the half-billion dollar project.
